Hazel is R3G3N EARTH's official nature explorer — a curious, adventurous hedgehog who loves nothing more than snuffling through leaf piles, spotting minibeasts, and teaching children about the incredible world right beneath their feet.
Hazel's story
Hazel was born under a bramble bush at the edge of an ancient woodland. From the very first day she opened her eyes, she was fascinated by everything around her — the beetles under logs, the wildflowers in the meadow, the worms wriggling through the compost heap. As she grew, Hazel realised that not everyone knew how magical the natural world really was. So she packed her little explorer's backpack, picked up her trusty magnifying glass, and set off to share her love of nature with as many children as she could find.

Wildly curious
Hazel never walks past a log without peeking underneath it. She believes every corner of nature holds a surprise.
